CURIOSIDADES DE LA ENCUESTA

• Lo primero y más destacable es que, desde que se realiza esta encuesta que comenzó el 2020, por primera vez hay un rubro en que se registra unanimidad: por Esteban González, como mejor entrenador, votaron los 43 participantes.
• Dejamos constancia, en toco caso la mención que hizo Gonzalo Mingo en relación con Victor Rivero, entrenador de Deportes Limache, que prácticamente con el mismo plantel con el que ascendió a Primera División y que debe ser el de menor costo del fútbol chileno, logró mantener la categoría, le ganó a Universidad de Chile, a Colo Colo y eliminó a Coquimbo Unido de la Copa Chile.
• Que en gustos no hay nada escrito, queda comprobado en esta encuesta, por sexto año consecutivo. Dentro de las votaciones no se repitió con exactitud ningún equipo. Siempre hubo, al menos un jugador en que diferían los votantes. Y ninguna opinión coincidió en su totalidad con el Equipo que resultó el «11 Ideal».
• El equipo ideal lo conforman 5 jugadores de Coquimbo Unido (Diego Sánchez, Bruno Cabrera, Juan Cornejo Sebastián Galani y Matías Palevcino), 3 de Universidad de Chile (Fabián Hormazábal, Charles Aránguiz y Lucas Assadi), dos de Universidad Católica (Branco Ampuero y Fernando Zampedri) y uno de Colo Colo (Lucas Cepeda).
• Como es sabido, la irrupción de los coquimbanos es espectacular. Porque el año pasado no figuró ninguno de sus jugadores en ningún rubro y este año dominaron en casi todos los aspectos. De los Grandes, Universidad Católica duplicó su presencia en el equipo ideal (subió de 1 a 2), la U, al revés, disminuyó en un 50%  (bajó de 6 a 3) y Colo Colo fue la declinación más rotunda (tenía cuatro y ahora solamente hay un jugador en el equipo ideal).
• Ahora, ese único jugador que representa a Colo Colo es un ejemplo de superación personal, ya que Lucas Cepeda fue elegido el 2024 como jugador revelación y ahora fue considerado el mejor en su puesto como delantero.
• Del equipo elegido en la temporada anterior, repitieron sólo tres jugadores: Fabián Hormazábal, Charles Aránguiz y Fernando Zampedri. Este último se repite el plato por cuarto año consecutivo.
• En el ranking figuran jugadores de tres nacionalidades: 9 son chilenos (aunque uno de ellos es nacionalizado, Fernando Zampedri) y 2 argentinos (la misma cantidad que el año pasado).
• Los uruguayos poco a poco han ido bajando su presencia. El 2023 había tres uruguayos en el equipo (Alan Saldivia, Maximiliano Falcón y Rodrigo Piñeiro), el 2024 solamente Maximiliano Falcon y este año no aparece ninguno
• A propósito de nacionalidad se generó una confusión con Fernando Zampedri, que recibió cuatro votos en el rubro de mejor extranjero, pese a que legalmente es futbolista y ciudadano chileno
• Ningún jugador fue votado en el equipo ideal por la totalidad de los encuestados. Fernando Zampedri fue el que estuvo más cerca: recibió 42 preferencias, seguido por Matías Palavecino con 38 y Bruno Cabrera con 36
• A propósito del Mejor Jugador del Campeonato, desde un comienzo la tendencia indicaba que Matías Palavecino iba a ser el ganador, tal como lo fue finalmente con 19 votos. Si no alcanzó el 50 de las preferencias es porque hubo muchos otros jugadores mencionados, destacando Charles Aránguiz (segundo lugar con 9 votos), Bruno Cabrera (5 votos), Diego Sánchez (4 votos) y Leonardo Valencia (3 votos)
• Por tratarse de un jugador argentino, al ser elegido Matías Palavecino como el Mejor Jugador del Campeonato, tenía que ser – como ocurrió- el Mwejor Jugador Extranjero.
• Un premio justo y merecido para Vicente Pizarro, elegido el jugador más correcto del campeonato. El año pasado ocupó el segundo lugar en este rubro, siendo superado por Gabriel Castellón y ahora se subió a lo más alto del podio, teniendo además una buena votación como el mejor volante del campaonato
• Lo otro que reitera la encuesta es que el fútbol es de momentos y quien mejor lo refleja es Arturo Vidal. El año 2024 El King no sólo fue elegido el mejor en su puesto, sino que discutió voto a voto con Fernando Zampedri el haber sido elegido El Mejor de Todos. Este año no fue mencionado en el equipo del año por ninguno de los votantes. Por el contrario, ocupó el tercer lugar entre las decepciones con 8 votos. Quien lo superó como la mayor decepción fue Salomón Rodríguez con 15 votos y lo escoltó Claudio Aquino con 9 votos. Todos con un factor común, la camiseta de Colo Colo. Por algo será
• Capitán del equipo ideal podrían ser tres, porque llevan la jineta en sus respectivos equipos: Sebastián Galani, Charles Aránguiz y Fernando Zampedri. Seguramente si los tres debieran ponerse de acuerdo le darían la capitanía, por trayectoria y títulos obtenidos, al Príncipe Azul
• Volviendo a la comparación con el ranking del campeonato anterior: hubo cuatro jugadores que conformaron el equipo ideal 2024 y que esta vez no obtuvieron ningún voto: Bryan Cortés, Maximiliano Falcón y Carlos Palacios. La razón es obvia: emigraron de Chile para jugar en Uruguay, Estados Unidos y Argentina respectivamente. Y la consecuencia, parece que también se cae de madura: ¡cuanta falta le hicieron a Colo Colo que nunca pudo reemplazarlos!
• El cuarto que no pudo “presentarse a la reelección” por haber dejado Chile fue Marcelo Morales, ex Universidad de Chile y el mejor zaguero izquierdo 2023. Tampoco fueron reelegidos sus compañeros de club integrantes del equipo ideal del año pasado, Maximiliano Guerrero y Matías Zaldivia, aunque este último le discutió voto a voto la nominación final a Branco Ampuero y Bruno Cabrera
• Salvo Luciano Cabral, que pudo haber sido elegido el 2023 de no haber jugado solamente una rueda en Chile, ningún jugador de Coquimbo Unido había estado ni cerca de pertenecer al equipo ideal en todas las ediciones anteriores. Esta vez los piratas, con su campaña extraordinaria coronada con el título de campeón se desquitaron con creces y tuvieron dentro de la oncena estelar a Diego Sánchez, Bruno Cabrera, Juan Cornejo, Sebastián Galani y Matías Palavecino.
• Y ojo, que hubo cuatro más que ocuparon el segundo lugar en sus puestos: el central Manuel Fernández, el volante Alejandro Camargo, el lateral derecho Francisco Salinas y el delantero Cecilio Waterman
• A propósito de lo anterior, ojo que con los jugadores que ocuparon el segundo lugar en sus respectivos puestos, también se puede armar un equipazo: Como arquero Tomás Ahumada; defensas Francisco Salinas, Manuel Fernández, Matías Zaldivia y Luis Pavez; volantes Alejandro Camargo, Vicente Pizarro y Leonardo Valencia; delanteros Luis Guerra, Cecilio Waterman y Daniel Castro
• ¿Puede ser un jugador revelación alguien que ya cumplió 31 años? Por supuesto que si y de hecho en nuestro ránking lo fue: Daniel “Popín” Castro. Es cierto que ya tenía campañas destacadas en Primera B, pero para quienes lo «descubrieron» en la Liga de Primera resultó toda una sorpresa. Demostró que la edad no es la que señala el carnet, sino la que se lleva…en este caso, en la cancha
• Atención, porque hubo jugadores que recibieron menor votación (en algunos casos, un solo voto), y con ellos también da para armar un equipo, que no suena nada de mal: arquero Omar Carabalí; defensas Jorge Espejo, Daniel González, Juan Ignacio Diaz y Esteban Matus; volantes Jorge Henríquez, Johan Valencia y Javier Altamirano; delanteros Joe Ábrigo, Álvaro Ramos y Cristián Zavala
• Hubo cuatro equipos que no tuvieron ningún jugador votado para el «Equipo del año»: Ñublense, Unión La Calera, Everton y Deportes La Serena.
• Se cortó la racha que traía José Cabero, elegido como el Mejor Árbitro los años 2023 y 2024. Esta vez los votantes le pasaron la cuenta, luego del insólito informe que elaboró en la fecha 15 de la primera rueda, en que escribió que el partido entre Huachipato y Palestino se había jugado en una cancha en “condiciones normales, en circunstancia que el juego se desarrolló bajo un verdadero diluvio y el campo del CAP parecía una piscina olímpica. Después de esa situación inexplicable, desapareció de escena y le abrió las puertas a Piero Maza, para que por amplia mayoría se quedara con la nominación como el Mejor entre los que imparten justicia
• Esta vez no hubo un gol que fuera elegido casi por unanimidad, como ocurrió con la chilenita de Fernando Zampedri en el clásico universitario 2024. Sin embargo, nadie puede quitarle la condición de golazo al que le anotó en la penúltima fecha del campeonato César Munder a Colo Colo. Sin la acrobacia que mostró el Hexagoleador del campeonato en su anotación a la U, el delantero minero levantó el estadio El Cobre e impacto a los televidentes con un bombazo desde fuera del área, que hizo una parábola, dejó parado al Tuto De Paul, pegó en un poste y se fue adentro.
